The prestigious Welsh Open Beach Volleyball Championships is Wales’ premier beach volleyball event, hosted annually at the stunning Cardiff Beach Volleyball Club, nestled in Victoria Park. Drawing elite athletes and rising stars from across the UK and beyond, the tournament has earned its place as a standout fixture on the British beach volleyball calendar. Over the course of two action-packed days, teams compete in a dynamic power pool format on Day 1, before splitting into two competitive divisions on Day 2, ensuring every team gets meaningful play—no early eliminations.
