UKBT Junior Championships Under 18 - Female

Information

Entry to the UKBT Junior Championships is open to all junior players who are a valid member of the UKBT.

• The Junior Championships will host the following divisions:
• Under 18: Championship Division (2 a-side)
• Under 18: Trophy Division (2 a-side)
• Under 16: Championship Division (2 a-side)
• Under 16: Trophy Division (2 a-side)
• Under 14: Championships Division (2 a-side)
• Entry is first come first served - limited space available
• Players are able to enter any division they like as long as they fit the age category.
• Entry Deadline: 21st July or when tournament is full

AGE CATEGORY

• U18 - The player must be born 1st September 2006 and thereafter (Up to school year 13)
• U16 - The player must be born 1st September 2008 and thereafter (Up to school year 11)
• U14 - The player must be born 1st September 2010 and thereafter (Up to school year 9)

WHAT DIVISION TO ENTER?

For the Under 18 and Under 16 category we have two divisions, Championships and Trophy. It is completely up to the players what division they play in but we recommend the following:

• Championship - Has at least three years of experience playing regular beach volleyball
• Trophy - Has less than three years of experience playing regular beach volleyball

The goal with splitting into two divisions is to allow players to compete at a level that is suitable to them and give them a great competitive experience. 

COST

• U14 = £15 per team
• U18/U16 = £35 per team

UKBT MEMBERSHIP

All players competing in the event must hold a UKBT membership. These can be purchased/renewed in Playerzone.

TOURNAMENT INFO

• An email with detailed information will be sent out to all participants around 48 hours before the tournament. For now all the information you require can be found here.

• Players must be prepared to get to the tournament venue by 08.30am

• Qualified first aiders will be on site

• Will be announced following the technical meeting after registration

• Croyde Beach is located at the address below. There are parking facilities on the beach but it will cost. Free parking can be found on nearby streets which is around 10 minutes away from the beach.
