The Croyde Open is back with a bang in 2025! After a fantastic inaugural event in 2024, you can enter to give yourself a chance to win the illustrious surfboard trophy and get your name on the surfboard hall of fame! The tournament will be open to 32 teams this year and we will be using the classic double elimination format. Everyone who gets knocked out on the Saturday will get automatic entry into our Southwest Series event on the Sunday, so you have 2 days of volleyball guaranteed! The event is running as part of the Goldcoast Oceanfest, a local music festival-so if you want to go and watch the tunes on the Saturday night from bands like Example and James Bay you can! It also means that we should have some great crowds and that winners will be able to head up onto the main festival stage to receive their trophies. Amazing stuff.
Entry to the Open will be based on your UKBT seeding points. Your seeding points are made up of your top 4 results over the past 365 days. On the entry list confirmed date (see below) the top ranked teams who have entered will be offered a place in the main draw of the tournament.
